Jeff Sorenson Wins 2019 Troy Burne Open

 

Teaching Pro and Multiple Winner of the Minnesota PGA Player of the Year, Jeff Sorenson, won his second CVGA Tournament by carding a 68 at Troy Burne.  He parred the second hole of a playoff to fight off one of the strongest fields in memory on a sunny, hot day at Troy Burne.  Finishing 2nd were Dan Sutton and Noah Rasinski who also shot 68’s.  Chris Borgen finished 4th with a 69 and Cory Johnson was 5th with 70.  There were a total of 69 players that featured 18 players 22 and under.  College bags were everywhere…what fun!  The CVGA Tour’s next stop is Wild Ridge in Eau Claire on Sunday, June 23rd.
